Iris The Boss
This lure is currently causing quite a stir. It is one of the bait highlights that SPRO added to its predatory fish range in 2018. In addition to the Iris Flash Jerk, the Iris Ambush Spinnerbait and the Fat Iris Crankbait, a rubber fish is now also available that is designed to entice predators with its large holographic iris eyes.
The best combined in one
All the important aspects that make a good rubber bait were taken into account during development. A lively action, sufficient pressure, but also the durability of the lure. One thing that immediately catches the eye: the paddle at the end of the tail is upside down. By turning the paddle upside down, the so-called rolling action is enhanced.
Perfect presentation in an unusual design
In addition to its unusual appearance, the Boss Shad has a so-called "hook size indicator" and a bright white "tracking spot" on the back.
The Hooksize Indicator is embossed on the back to make it easier for you to select the right jig head hook size and also to mount the lure on the jig hook. With this aid, it is child's play to mount the soft lure perfectly on the jig.
The tracking spot proves to be a great help in clear or relatively shallow stretches of water. The lure can be easily tracked under the surface of the water with the aid of polarized glasses. And a bite on sight will get your adrenaline pumping faster!
In addition to the normal jig head rigging, this lure can also be rigged in a different way.
With the help of our softbait spiral stinger systems, "The Boss" can be presented perfectly without the bait losing any of its action.
This is a screw and plug system, whereby the softbait is fixed to the head with a spiral and the free-standing treble hooks are attached to the underside of the belly with the help of so-called spikes.
Thanks to the interchangeable weights, you can offer The Boss as well as other lures at any preferred water depth.
A real all-rounder
Individually packaged, this lure is available in three different sizes (12, 15 and 18 cm) and in eight attractive colors.
The 12cm version has a net weight of 16 grams. The 15cm version weighs 32 grams and the 18cm version weighs 54 grams. Both prey fish designs and bright colors have been included in the color palette.
