The reel is available in two gear ratios: HG with a 7.3:1 ratio, which allows for a line retrieval of approximately 0.91 m per crank turn, and XG with an 8.1:1 ratio, which retrieves about 1.02 m of line per crank turn. Weighing just 263 g (9.3 oz), it offers a maximum drag force of 13.6 kg (30 lb) and is equipped with 11 stainless steel ball bearings.

The line capacity is approximately 200 yds for 16-lb fluorocarbon (approx. 183 m / Ø 0.28 mm) or approx. 140 yds for 60-lb braided line (approx. 128 m / Ø 0.36 mm). The magnesium frame ensures low weight combined with high stability. Large, ergonomic handle knobs offer greater comfort and power, while the spacious spool allows for long casts and optimizes line lay when fishing with big baits.
