The Pointer Series is one of the best-known and most successful hardbait lines in the world and has proven itself over the years in both everyday fishing and tournament use. Designed with a focus on maximizing the number of bites, it combines a realistic lure presentation with an extremely reliable suspender action that really shines when fish are cautious or passive.

Thanks to the wide selection of sizes, diving depths, and designs, this series offers great flexibility and can be optimally adapted to different bodies of water, seasons, and target fish. It is characterized by its lateral movement with light jerks, as well as its stable position when paused, during which the lure generates subtle pressure waves that specifically stimulate the predator’s lateral line.

Pointer 48

The Pointer 48 is a compact suspending jerkbait designed specifically for finesse techniques in high-pressure fishing conditions. Measuring just 48 mm in length, it realistically mimics small prey fish and reliably attracts even cautious predators. Its tight, jerky action, combined with its natural suspended position, ensures that the lure remains in the strike zone for an exceptionally long time and is most effective during pauses.

In addition to the shallower-running version, the Pointer 48 is also available as a deep-diving variant, the Pointer 48DD, which is specifically designed for greater depths. This allows anglers to effectively target fish that are deeper or in heavily fished areas without sacrificing the lure’s subtle and controlled action.

Pointer 50

The Pointer 50S (pictured above) is a compact sinking jerkbait designed for maximum control and a fast, direct lure response. With its 50 mm length, it realistically mimics small prey fish and exhibits a tight, lively action even with light twitches. It really shines in challenging conditions—such as cold water or when fish are cautious—and consistently triggers reaction bites. Thanks to its sinking action, it can also be guided to specific depths, allowing for a very precise presentation even in hard-to-reach spots.

The series is rounded out by the Pointer 50SS (pictured below), which offers the same responsive action but runs slightly deeper, providing greater flexibility in use. The 50SS really comes into its own when fish are holding a bit deeper or along edges and structures. The controlled sinking phase ensures that the lure stays in the fish’s field of vision longer, giving them more time to strike.

The Pointer 78 is one of the best-known jerkbaits in the series and impresses with a perfect blend of casting distance, smooth swimming action, and aggressive movement. With its 78-mm profile, it appeals to a wide range of prey and can be fished extremely effectively both with active twitching and with longer pauses. During pauses, it remains stable in the water and generates subtle vibrations that specifically trigger reaction bites.

For greater depth, the Pointer 78 is also available in a DD version, which reaches depths of about 2 to over 2.5 meters, making it ideal for targeting fish that are holding deeper or are sluggish. It retains the Pointer’s signature action, ensuring reliable strikes even at depth. If you need to go even deeper, the Pointer 78XD comes into play. This version reaches depths of around 3 meters and can even be retrieved faster without losing any of its action. This allows you to cover more water, and the lure stays in the strike zone longer—a major advantage, especially in cold water and when dealing with passive fish.

Pointer 128

The Pointer 128 is the largest model in the series and was specifically designed for fishing for trophy-sized predatory fish. With its 128-mm profile and heavier weight, it offers tremendous casting distance and specifically targets larger prey fish, making it particularly effective for pike, zander, and large perch.

Despite its size, it impresses with the typical Pointer action—a sideways burst followed by a stable suspension phase. Thanks to its low center of gravity, the lure begins to roll and vibrate slightly when paused, creating strong pressure waves that entice even sluggish predators to strike. The Pointer 128 runs at a depth of about 15 meters and remains in the fish’s field of vision for a long time.
