The development process focused particularly on the use of lures such as the Chad Shad 180, making the rod ideally suited for small to medium-sized big baits. At the core of the rod is a high-quality blank made of 40-ton high-modulus carbon. This material provides a successful combination of low weight, high stability, and direct feedback upon lure contact. The action is designed to be moderate to moderately fast, which is crucial, especially when fishing with glidebaits. This gives the lure enough freedom to make clean S-curves, while at the same time providing sufficient backbone to safely control even larger fish.

The guides and reel seat are designed for durability and performance, while the Exposed Blank Reel Seat allows direct contact with the blank, thereby increasing sensitivity. The split handle made of cork and EVA ensures a secure grip and comfortable casting. With a length of 2.36 meters, a Heavy Power rating, and a casting weight range of approximately 14 to 85 grams, the rod covers the ideal range for small to medium-sized glidebaits.
